The USGD Senate appointed a new Health Solutions Senator and Supreme Court Justice, passed a bill hoping to give students 24-hour access to the University Center library and approved eight of nine funding requests Friday.
Downtown budget committee streamlines funding for student organizations
The new system, incorporated into meetings of the Budget Allocations Committee, pairs a student organization with a senator willing to sponsor the specific funding request. At Senate meetings, the sponsoring senator will now present the request to the rest of the chamber, acting as an intermediary on behalf of the student organization asking for money.
New budget approval structure discussed for ASASUD
