Historic Preservation Commission

The commission will hear an appeal to a hearing officer’s decision on a multifamily housing development near Fifth Avenue and Roosevelt. The appellant said the proposed development was not consistent with the neighborhood’s character.

Arizona 2017 Transgender Day of Remembrance

Trans Spectrum of Arizona is acknowledging the violence many transgender people face all over the world by gathering at the Capitol and reading a list of trans people who died in 2017. Many LGBTQ+ organizations are participating in this event.

Niall Horan: Flicker Sessions 2017

    Famous British singer Niall Horan released his new album, Flicker, and is now stopping in Phoenix to share his music with the Valley with this event, Flicker Sessions.

    CitySkate Grand Opening & Tree Lighting Ceremony

    • CityScape – 1, E. Washington St.

    CityScape is throwing their annual holiday celebration, CitySkate with a tree-lighting ceremony and the opening of their ice skating rink. Phoenix Art Museum will put up a pop-up shop, popular children’s characters from Frozen will attend and Mayor Greg Stanton will light up the Christmas tree.

      The Valley Bar will host Seinfeld Trivia this Tuesday, with sign-ups starting at 7 p.m. The Vallley Bar is underneath where the Downtown Deli recently relocated to.
