From AI’s to blockchains: Here’s what to expect at PHX Startup Week 2018

Entrepreneurs and business owners are coming to the Warehouse District next week to share success stories, tips, and failures for the 2018 PHX Startup Week.

PHX Startup is a yearly, free week-long event where entrepreneurs and small business owners from around the Valley can attend workshops and discussions about ways to start and improve small businesses. With talks led by business leaders and company heads, Startup Week provides opportunity for how to help small businesses succeed.  Interested participants can register online

There will also be Chase Bankcamp which will provide one-on-one discussions with developers and CEOs as well as activities and engagement with entrepreneurs and potential investors for attendees in between sessions. Bankcamp will also provide charging stations and snacks for attendees.  

Where: Speaker and workshop locations will be held in the Warehouse District. Buildings hosting Startup week include the George Washington Carver Museum, Galvanize Phoenix, The Duce, Solera Health, ASU Grant Street Studios and Events on Jackson.

When: February 19 at 8 a.m. to February 23, 2018, at 8 p.m. Throughout the week there will be featured vertical days that focus on different sections of entrepreneurship and business.

Monday: Think Artificial Intelligence Day

Events on this day will help educate and inform attendees about how Artificial Intelligence affects businesses as well as ways it benefits the competition level and the business itself with a focus in technology, sales and marketing, and HR.

Tuesday: MedTech Day

Events and discussions on this day will appeal specifically to those in the healthcare and biomedical fields. With Phoenix being in the top industries in these fields, MedTech Day will help educate and support biomedical and healthcare startups.

Thursday: Blockchain Conference

As one of the largest conferences in Phoenix, the Blockchain Conference will provide entrepreneurs with education and solutions on how to help your business keep up with the fast evolving blockchain community. Attendees will be able to engage in networking and partnership events as well as interact in panel discussions.
