Small business advocacy and network group Local First Arizona plans to shine the spotlight on Phoenix’s small business owners with the ninth annual Certified Local Fall Festival this Saturday, Nov. 9 at downtown’s Portland Parkway.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure -- or for dozens of local artists, a fashion show. The sixth annual Untrashed Recycled Rubbish Fashion Show gives artists and community members the chance to show off the outfits they created from trash and recycled materials over the past weeks.

Two dozen children and adults clad in bathing suits and all-white ensembles gathered at The Firehouse Gallery on Saturday to celebrate the venue’s second annual colored water throwing party. The event was inspired by the water theme of their upcoming gallery show and the Indian Holi festival, where participants throw colored powders in celebration of spring.
