The Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS will move into the former home of KPNX on Central Avenue due to its proximity to the light rail and the Downtown campus, said Carol Poore, the center's president and CEO. The old KPNX building is at 1101 North Central Avenue.
Last week, Bowl of Greens opened for business on the ground level of the Walter Cronkite School, leaving only one remaining commercial spot in the building vacant.
The newest restaurant addition to the bottom floor of the Walter Cronkite School opens today, following delays from its initial opening date in early July.
