Three artists are creating banners to be displayed at central Phoenix light-rail stations for Reinvent PHX’s Wayfinding Project that will represent the unique community around each of those stations.
Several hundred protestors gathered at the state Capitol Monday night, continuing their protest of Senate Bill 1062, which would allow businesses to refuse to provide service to customers based on religious principles.
Volunteers came together Friday morning to create a giant image of a desert flower for the Ground Cover Public Art Project, which will donate the 300 blankets used to complete the image to the homeless for the winter.
