A chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists was started on Arizona State University’s Downtown campus by a group of students hoping to give the Hispanic community a voice both at the University and in the local community.
A round-table interview with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio abruptly ended Monday night at the Walter Cronkite School when a small group of singing protesters interrupted the sheriff as he was answering a question concerning his immigration policies.
Lenny’s Burger Shop is a delicious throwback joint that serves the typical fare of burgers, fries, hot dogs and malts, but while the menu may be small the food quality is simply outstanding. The burgers resemble something you might expect from an In-N-Out establishment but without that nagging feeling that you’re eating something mass-produced.

Considering the significant growth of the Downtown campus over the last several years, a plan to expand the campus to provide additional services to the students seems a plausible and necessary initiative. However, such a fee is an unnecessary financial burden to impose upon students and one that is coming at the wrong time.
The Downtown campus has met expectations for growth despite changes from original development plans and will continue to expand in the future, an ASU official said.
