Organizers of the Irish Cultural Learning Foundation in Phoenix plan to begin construction Sunday, Feb. 13, on a three-story library designed to resemble an Irish castle adjacent to the rest of the Irish Cultural Center at 1106 N. Central Ave.
On the list of great Phoenix restaurants, Pasta Bar was way up there. It was a starter on the All-Star team, the kind of place you tell out-of-towners about so they’re impressed with your city. In terms of the quality of its food, it was easily top three in downtown Phoenix, and the atmosphere was great.
At least two Downtown campus student organizations have complaints about waiting to receive funds granted to them by ASASUD, citing a lack of communication after funding requests were approved.
ASASUD members made changes to the Downtown campus’s student government constitution and discussed problems fulfilling funding requests at a Senate meeting on Nov. 19.
FEZ, open from 11 a.m. to midnight Monday to Friday and 8:30 a.m. to midnight weekends, is one of the best places for downtown students who want to explore Central Phoenix.
