Nestled in a lot on the corner of Grand and Eleventh avenues, ThirdSpace is a part of a collection of brightly painted, historic cottages where collaborative small businesses offer local food and drink, shopping and other services.
City Square Church celebrated its first anniversary at Crescent Ballroom with tacos and music by The Copper States and The Sugar Thieves following their usual service on Sunday. City Square is a United Methodist Christian church that meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. in the cafeteria of Bioscience High School near Pierce and Sixth streets.
Taylor Place, Arizona State University's downtown residence hall, was overbooked for the second year in a row. Several students were once again temporarily housed in a nearby hotel.
