The donation program at Mazie's began in July. The cafe chooses a charity every month and donates ten percent of its proceeds every Wednesday to that chosen charity.
Preserve Phoenix's kickoff event was Friday at the historic DeSoto Building in downtown Phoenix. Preserve Phoenix's goal is to raise awareness about the DeSoto Building, which is now being leased, as well as other historical buildings.
The 18th annual Mental Health Awareness Coalition candlelight vigil celebrated recovery and honored loved ones lost to mental illness Wednesday evening. On top of the vigil, the event also hosted live music performances and speakers advocating for improved mental healthcare.
ASU sophomore Ellie Craze celebrated the opening of her first solo show at Jobot Coffee and Dining Oct. 18. The show, called "Adolescence," portrays Craze's early teenage years.
