Two men suspected of robbery of iPad at smoke shop Bud’s Glass Joint
Bud’s Glass Joint, a shop specializing in smoking products located on First Street just north of Roosevelt Street, fell victim to a robbery early Wednesday afternoon. An iPad valued at $300, which the store used as a credit card machine with a Square card reader, was stolen off of a display case inside the store.
Traveling exhibit emphasizes the impact and power of Nazi propaganda
“State of Deception: the Power of Nazi Propaganda,” a United States Holocaust Memorial Museum traveling exhibit, is currently on display at Burton Barr Central Library. The exhibit, which opened Feb. 20, had an opening reception Thursday.

After shutting down as a printing press several decades ago, The Pressroom is being retrofitted to become an arts and music venue. Located in between 4th and 5th Avenues on Madison Street, The Pressroom is expected to host a variety of acts for various age groups.
