In celebration of Black Friday, downtown’s CityScape presented CitySkate and the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market, welcoming hundreds of shoppers and skaters to a variety of entertainment, sales and winter flair.

For the third year in a row, the development put together an outdoor ice-skating rink to bring downtowners a taste of wintertime. This year, the rink was expanded to take up the entirety of Central Avenue between Washington and Jefferson streets, making it the largest one yet for CityScape.

To combine with the many deals offered at Urban Outfitters, Chloe’s Corner, Copper Blues, and the other shops and restaurants in the development, Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market hosted its first downtown outdoor market on CityScape’s western half. It featured 30 vintage vendors that offered such unique finds as jewelry, furniture, women’s clothing and other accessories.
