Hosts Miguel Otarola and Jayson Chesler delivered Devil’s Pass’s final episode for the semester. The show will return in August. Topics included the presentation of TRUPHX and changes in leadership in the arts community in the wake of James Ballinger’s decision to step down as director of the Phoenix Art Museum.

TRUPHX was featured as the article of the week. The TRUPHX blog was presented at The Lab Pop-Up Gallery this past weekend. The project looks to present a new perspective on Phoenix to people who only know the city for some of its controversial politics.

A number of First Friday events were previewed, including various gallery shows. The concert tracker honed in on Riff Raff’s upcoming appearance at the Crescent Ballroom, while the theater tracker touched on interesting shows at several downtown venues, including Phoenix Theatre and Space 55.

For event, theater and concert previews along with in-depth discussion, tune in to the live show every Thursday at 4:30 p.m. on the Blaze 1330 AM.
