Hey everyone, this is Sara Edwards, here to bring you hot events happening this week near you. I’m filling in for regular digest host, T.J. Triollo, with events that will test your knowledge to ones that will be sure to satisfy your tastebuds. Here’s this week’s Downtown Digest.
Chicken, Waffles and Comedy
Wednesday, June 20
7:30-9 p.m.
Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles
1220 S Central Ave
We already love Lo-Lo’s for its chicken and waffle dinners and special kool-aid. Starting this week, Lo-Lo’s will be having a stand-up comedy night every Wednesday evening. Hosted by Comedian Michael Cardoza, each week will feature well known comedians from across the nation like David Peña and Jenn Gonzalez. Lo-Lo’s will have a full bar open and enough kool-aid for kids and adults too.

The Office Trivia Night
Tuesday, June 19
6-10 p.m.
Jobot Coffee & Bar
333 E Roosevelt St.
If any of you watch The Office as often as I do (literally everyday) then we all know how daunting that little announcement from Netflix is on the title page about its removal in January. What’s a better excuse to binge watch the show than to test your knowledge at The Office Trivia Night! Gather your Dunder-Mifflin squad and test to see which one of you has seen the show more than the others for Round Two of Trivia Night: The Office.
