PHX Center for the Arts: Updated Spring Class Schedule

Whether you’re looking to polish your photography skills, learn some new dance moves or take a ceramics lesson, Phoenix Center for the Arts has officially updated its schedule of classes for youth, teens and adults. Classes are available in-person and online and sign-ups are available on the Center’s website.
The Power of Poetry in America

Join Joy Harjo and Natasha Trethewey, two notable laureates for a conversation on their work and how they view poetry. This event is online with the poets’ books available for purchase and live ASL interpreters will be interpreting the event.
Urban Nocturnes Concert

Watch the Urban Nocturnes perform with string instruments, along with clarinets for a lighthearted concert outdoors this weekend. This in-person event is limited to 50 people and tickets will only be available for purchase in advance.
12th Annual Ikebana Art Exhibit 2021

Celebrate the 12th annual Ikebana Art Exhibit at the Japanese Friendship Garden this weekend. Ikebana is the art of Japanese flower arrangement. Sogetsu Ikebana is a contemporary Ikebana art style that encourages creativity and artistic expression using the natural beauty of flowers, leaves, and branches with unexpected and unconventional materials. This event is limited to only 150 poeple per time slot.
