
Easter Sunday is coming up! We’ve compiled a list of fun, kid-friendly Easter events to visit around downtown this weekend.
Good Friday Cross Walk for Hope
When: Friday, March 30, at 7 p.m.
Where: First Church UCC, 1407 North 2nd St.
Slip your walking shoes on and join First Church UCC as they trek for a good cause. This free event will begin at 7 p.m. in front of First Church where there will be a prayer gathering before walking three blocks to the MonOrchid mural The Garden to raise awareness of homelessness, anti-semitism, gentrification and climate change. The mural on MonOrchid is dedicated to those who have lost their lives experiencing homelessness in Phoenix. Free transportation will be provided to those unable to walk the full three blocks and a vigil will be held at the mural at 8:15.

Mini Easter Egg Hunt
When: Sunday, April 1, 10 a.m.
Where: The Teapot, 818 North 5th Ave.
Grab your egg hunting baskets and hop over to the historic Teapot building for a kid-friendly Easter Egg Hunt. Kids ages 1-6 can participate in an easter egg hunt around the coffee shop while parents relax and enjoy the front and backyard gardens. Kids should bring their own Easter basket. A $2 play ticket can be purchased through food and drink tickets. The egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m.
Easter Egg Hunt
When: Sunday, April 1, 12:30 p.m.
Where: St. Mary’s Basilica Outdoor Plaza
St. Mary’s Basilica is holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday after the 11 a.m. mass. Immediately following, a children’s procession featuring the Easter Bunny will lead to the Easter egg hunt. Everyone is welcome to join in the hunt and to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Free parking will be available for visitors and parishioners at the parking garage located on Fifth Street between Van Buren and Monroe.

Fifth Annual Roosevelt Row Easter Eve Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, March 31 at 6 p.m.
Where: Bud’s Glass Joint, 907 North 5th St
Grab your Easter Egg baskets and head over to Roosevelt Row this Saturday for a pre-Easter Egg hunt. Hosted by Bud’s Glass Joint, participants can hunt for eggs hidden around Roosevelt Row and redeem them for awesome prizes, discounts and coupons to some of the unique businesses that make Roosevelt Row so special.
