I’m pretty sure most Taylor Place residents have a love-hate relationship with the construction workers of ASU’s future law school. I mean, no college kid enjoys being woken up by beeps and whistles at 7 o’clock in the morning. Even though they can be an involuntary alarm clock, the work that these orange vested guys do amazes me.
Every once in a while, my roommate and I look out the window and marvel at the progress they’ve made. I took this photo during one of those times. It’s hard to imagine having such a physically demanding job that lasts through the unbearable Phoenix heat. I was able to capture a brief moment of a workingman’s relaxation and water break.
This photo was taken out of my window, with a shutter speed of 1/800th of a second and an aperture of f/5.3.
