For some people, Valentine’s Day means flowers, candy, or a romantic dinner date. For others, it’s just another day.
However, for many electronic dance music lovers in Phoenix, Valentine’s Day marks the first Warehouse215 rave of 2025: Green Velvet’s LALALAND.
Headlined by house DJ, singer and music producer Green Velvet, who has a best-selling track of the same name, LALALAND will take place over Valentine’s Day weekend, Feb. 14 and 15, starting at 8 p.m. each night and continuing until 2 a.m.
Green Velvet has an extensive discography and a career spanning 20 years, emerging during a significant transitional phase in the Chicago house and techno sound, which his music has influenced.
Dance music and EDM promoter Relentless Beats will host LALALANDalongside the Phoenix Warehouse Project this year. Warehouse215 has been the primary host of Phoenix Warehouse Project events, including shows from Bijou, Dr. Fresch and Gorgon City, with an upcoming performance from Nico Moreno in March.
Other artists on the lineup for LALALAND include Dombresky, known for his house sound; Layton Giordani, a techno artist; AYYBO, a house producer; Jackie Hollander, a melodic house and techno DJ; and Not Yurs, a Phoenix-based house and techno group.
The event also features a back-to-back (b2b) set on Valentine’s Day with Valerie Stoss and Cece, two house DJs. Cece, originally from Germany, has many roots in the Phoenix EDM scene, starting off doing smaller pop-up shows and performing at club venues before getting signed and eventually working with Relentless Beats.

“Relentless reached out to me and asked if I wanted to open this event (with Valerie Stoss),” Cece said. “We’ve played together a lot of times, and we’re good friends as well.”
Cece describes her styles as “tech-house” approaching “progressive melodic,” which aligns with the styles of Green Velvet and the other artists featured on the LALALAND lineup.
“I love Green Velvet: I’ve seen him live before, and he’s awesome,” Cece said. “I’ve met Dombresky, and he’s great, so I’m excited to see him again (and) I’ve been looking forward to seeing Ayybo. Honestly, we are really excited to be a part of the whole weekend.”
While LALALAND will be in Phoenix on February 14th and 15th, a perfect coincidence for the state’s birthday, Green Velvet has headlined shows across the U.S. for the LALALAND tour, including shows in Miami, Orlando, Brooklyn, Sacramento, and, of course, his hometown of Chicago. Past artists have included Coco & Breezy, Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Skream, and more.
“I just want people to have a great time listening to music, feel good, and be happy,” Cece said.
