“Comfort Zones” pushes its artists and audience beyond their expectations of artistic form. The group show was curated to gather artists to explore avenues of expression not previously conceived, pulling apart the structures which bind their practice and daily life. The event was curated by Phoenix performative multimedia artist Jen Urso, who is known locally for binding performance and production into her work. This show presents the logical, group-based conclusion of that effort.
