Banned Books on Film - A Clockwork Orange

Bookmans presents the Banned Books on Film - A Clockwork Orange. Showing in the Phoenix Art Museum’s Whiteman Hall will be the infamous Stanley Kubrick-directed 1971 film. Follow the angsty Alex DeLarge as he suffers through a dystopian British society. Bookmans shows the film interpretation of Anthony Burgess’ 1962 novel in solidarity with its fight against censorship. The book was removed from various high-school classrooms for language in the ‘70s.
