Inspired by a similar performance in San Francisco, Trunk Space majordomo JRC organized this multi-faceted feast for the senses, based on the famed tale of Dr. Faust and his pact with the Devil. Using F.W. Murnau (Nosferatu)’s 1926 silent version of Faust as a backdrop, JRC brought together contemporary dance troupe Dulce Dance Company, Phoenix’s Poet Laureate Jack Evans, Arcana Collective leader and performance artist Ernesto Moncada and improvisational “dieselpunk” ensemble RPM Orchestra to create a live, collaborative interpretation of the classic story and film.
