The sounds of chattering people, customers wandering from booth to booth and the captivating sight of freshly baked bread are at the local Phoenix Farmer’s Market scene. At the center of it all is Noble Bread, a regional business that sells those baked goods in the early mornings.
Jason Raducha, the owner of Noble Bread, created the business after he began baking in his garage, transforming his passion into his business.
Scott Jenkins, a Noble Bread employee, has only worked at the farmers market for two months but already feels connected to the people and business. Jenkins likes that the company is locally owned and operated, providing great work.
“Noble is like family. It is family-owned, but all the employees are like family,” said Jenkins. “The owner reached out to me on my first day and talked to me and it’s just that’s not something you would get from a big business.”
Noble Bread does not only operate in the market. It has a location in Phoenix complete with a bakery and eatery. Customers can enjoy their bread Monday through Friday.
The eatery is similar to a restaurant and functions as a separate entity from the market vendor but is still part of Noble Bread.
Andrea Oroszco, the Noble Bread farmers market manager and social media manager, said she loves the business’s simplicity and the traditional way they make healthier bread.
Orozco began selling bread one day a week on Saturdays at the farmers market and now works for Noble Bread full-time.
“Jason is an amazing person to work for. Noble is an amazing company to work for,” Orozco said. “You know their sense of community within Noble, but also outside of it because we are a community like small business.”
Recently, Noble Bread celebrated its tenth anniversary and continues to thrive because of its supportive customers.
Anna Snow, a former employee at Noble Bread, said loyal regular customers who keep coming back have helped sustain the business.
The same customers would come weekly with the same orders, so Snow would already know the order.
Snow said she liked Noble Bread’s excellent customer service and how the business builds its relationship with its customers.
“I think that’s really important for business. If you have a place in the community… then you are going to succeed,” she said.
