At the sixth annual State of Downtown Tuesday evening, Mayor Phil Gordon said ASU continues to pump life into downtown Phoenix and lead its revitalization efforts.

The new software, OrgSync, used by student organizations at ASU for the first time this semester is proving a cumbersome experience for some student groups.

While cases of the swine flu have not been reported at the Downtown campus, medical officials at the ASU Health Center said they are not ruling out the possibility that the virus has surfaced.

The ASASUD Senate unanimously approved amendments to Article V of the Downtown campus constitution Friday.

Taylor Mall, the area between University Center and the Walter Cronkite School, is usually bustling on weekdays. There are students heading to and from class, people socializing and often student organizations promoting themselves.
