Located underneath the San Carlos Hotel on North Central Avenue, between East Van Buren and East Monroe streets, the Downtown Barbershop is as old as the building it is located in.

Over 100 float entries participated in the Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday with a theme of “Home of the Free Because of the Brave.” The march started at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center on North Seventh Street and continued more than two miles west on East Camelback Road and north on North Central Avenue.
