Taylor Mall, the area between University Center and the Walter Cronkite School, is usually bustling on weekdays. There are students heading to and from class, people socializing and often student organizations promoting themselves.

Speakers from Bataan, Burma, Iraq and Somalia discussed the situations of refugees in Arizona at the Walter Cronkite School Thursday night.

Over 100 float entries participated in the Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday with a theme of “Home of the Free Because of the Brave.” The march started at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center on North Seventh Street and continued more than two miles west on East Camelback Road and north on North Central Avenue.

ASU President Michael Crow said ASU is defining what a great university is by helping more people achieve innovation at the dedication of the College of Nursing and Health Innovation’s new building Tuesday morning.
