ASASUD Senate holds first meeting

At the Downtown campus student government’s first official Senate meeting on Friday, President Tania Mendes announced the resignation of two of the Senate’s members and plans for ASU President Michael Crow to meet with students monthly through telecasts.

Update: Discolored water

Discolored water began flowing at Taylor Place Monday night due to water having to be temporarily shut off when there was a pipe issue in the building earlier in the day, a Taylor Place official said in an email to community assistants.

Taylor Place opens new kitchen

The community kitchen, located left of management’s office, opened Thursday and is available to Taylor Place residents twenty-four hours a day and during holidays free of charge, a Taylor Place official said.

Hsin opening delayed until October

Construction on Hsin, the Chinese restaurant located on the first floor of Taylor Place, was meant to be completed by August, but a conflict regarding Maroon and Gold Dollars will keep doors closed until at least October, said Ben Juang, owner of Hsin.
