The 31st Arizona Matsuri Festival, a celebration of Japanese culture, was held Saturday and Sunday at Heritage and Science Park on Van Buren and Sixth streets. The event featured over 60 vendors, crafts, demonstrations, exhibits, food and performances highlighting Japanese heritage.
Community members meet to discuss sustainability
ASU and the City of Phoenix hosted Sustival, the final event in the 2015 Sustainability Solutions Festival, at Civic Space Park on Saturday. The event highlighted topics like water preservation, composting and growing food locally as ways to make the Valley more sustainable.
