USA Today columnist and editor at large Rem Rieder shared his views on the Brian Williams scandal and tips for aspiring columnists during his appearance at the Cronkite School's Must See Mondays speaker series.

The Cronkite School was home to aspiring and successful entrepreneurs and media experts focused on advancing the roles of women and girls at the third Women Investing in Women Phoenix Summit on Friday and Saturday.

The 31st Arizona Matsuri Festival, a celebration of Japanese culture, was held Saturday and Sunday at Heritage and Science Park on Van Buren and Sixth streets. The event featured over 60 vendors, crafts, demonstrations, exhibits, food and performances highlighting Japanese heritage.

ASU and the City of Phoenix hosted Sustival, the final event in the 2015 Sustainability Solutions Festival, at Civic Space Park on Saturday. The event highlighted topics like water preservation, composting and growing food locally as ways to make the Valley more sustainable.
