Mary Poppins at Phoenix Theatre is incredibly imaginative. Directed by Michael Barnard, the combination of the bright and colorful backdrops and set designs, professional dancers, talented cast, expert lighting, costuming and music make the production a mesmerizing experience.

About 50 people gathered outside Phoenix City Hall on Friday in a protest against police brutality, among other issues, in response to the acquittal of officer Darren Wilson in the death of Michael Brown.

Bioscience High School in downtown Phoenix has about 300 students and no sports teams. So instead, the school's students and staff root for its award-winning robotics team.
