More than 6,000 people walked the streets of Phoenix on Sunday for the Aunt Rita’s AIDS Walk raising more than $300,000 to benefit those who have been affected by HIV and AIDS.

The Primavera Folklorico Dance Company has been performing around Phoenix and Arizona since 1975. On Oct. 26, they'll bring their unique blend of traditional Mexican folk dancing to Margaret T. Hance Park for the third annual Día de los Muertos PHX Festival.

As of Oct. 1, Shine Coffee entered new management under Short Leash Hot Dogs and became Rollover Doughnuts + Coffee. Downtown Devil Dining Editor Amelia Goe visits the shop to sample their new fried pastries and coffee favorites.

The Arizona School of the Arts will debut a play this weekend that they commissioned from local playwright Dwayne Hartford. A grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts made the project possible.
