Four Chambers Press marked the release of their second issue with a release party at FilmBar. The fall 2014 issue was a labor of love for Editor-in-Chief Jake Friedman and the new standard for future literary magazines.

A local attorney and his wife donated $10 million to Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law to help build their new law center. It is the largest single gift the law school has received.

"Wrapture," a painting by local artist Maggie Keane, was stolen from The Hive art gallery at 16th and Cyprus streets. This is the second art theft within the last two months, after Bassim Al-Shaker having $50,000-worth of work stolen in August.

The 10 finalists in the Manhattan Short Film Festival are being screened at galleries, theaters, museums and universities in participating cities, including Phoenix, for 10 days from Sept. 26 to Oct. 5.
