Kirk Strawn, who recently opened Walter Studios at Roosevelt Street and Seventh Avenue, has developed a fleet of four refurbished vehicles named Walter, Big Red, Heathen and Kalliope that bring music and light shows to events around the Valley.

The gallery and boutique Practical Art celebrated its sixth birthday this Saturday. The gallery features the work of strictly Arizona artists who work in a variety of mediums. The anniversary celebration showcased the work of some of their artists, ranging from woodworkers to knitters.

Barrett, the Honors College revived their first ever student art show at the 909 Cooperative for April's Third Friday after it's successful debut on First Friday. The show displayed student art work from three of ASU's campuses and had several interactive stations for guests.

This Third Friday, GROWop collaborated with Reesing Design to put on the second in a series of metalworking workshops. Six participants learned how to create their own jewelry from instructor Christine Reesing.
