Starting in the 2014 fall semester, the Walter Cronkite School will be offering the first business journalism certificate of its kind. Robin Phillips, Stephen Doig and Andrew Leckey are some of the Cronkite professors teaching one of the five courses offered with the certificate.

Norma Munoz, a board member for the Roosevelt School District, has recently been appointed to fill the vacant seat in District 27 in the Arizona House of Representatives. Munoz was a unanimous choice by the Maricopa Board of Supervisors.
