Candidates for president of Undergraduate Student Government Downtown debated on Thursday evening. Alexis Kramer is challenging current USGD president Frank Smith in the running, and the debate broached topics such as student tuition and overall student involvement in USGD matters.
College councils to liaise between student government and student organizations
The councils, which mimic similar organizations on the Tempe campus, serve as the intermediary between student government and student organizations. Their functions include providing funds and logistical help for events and matching students to organizations that fit their interests.
