Nonprofit Phoenix Chinese Week's Culture and Cuisine Festival was held at Margaret T. Hance Park over the weekend in celebration of Chinese New Year.

The American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Local 2384 union chapter seeks transparency and cooperation in negotiations with the city of Phoenix regarding balancing the budget and solving staffing reduction and pay cut issues.

The short play event, OutLoud! Stories from the Gayborhood, premiered Thursday at the Phoenix Center for the Arts. All four plays were adapted from written pieces penned in a writing collective at One Voice Community Center, an organization that provides educational, social and wellness programs to the LGBT community in Phoenix.

Hosts Jayson Chesler and Miguel Otarola were joined by Domenico Nicosia for this episode. Several of February's First Friday events were previewed, including Five15 Arts' "I'll Show You Mine If You Show Me Yours" and The Pseudo Science Show at Bragg's Pie Factory's Frontal Lobe Gallery.
