Downtown Phoenix business and gallery owners Kimber Lanning, Greg Esser and Cindy Dach bought two vacant lots on the south side of Roosevelt Street between Fourth and Fifth streets. The trio is celebrating with a free concert at the space Friday.

Three sophomore girls from Phoenix Bioscience High School were filmed for an episode of PBS' "SciGirls, a show designed to spark young girls’ interest in math and science. The show, titled "Bee Haven," will air on PBS on Nov. 30.
Proposal seeks to move Sun Devil Stadium student section
A proposal submitted recently by Downtown student government president Joseph Grossman would change the location of the student section at Sun Devil Stadium. The goal of the suggested move is to accommodate students on the lower bowl of the stadium.

ASU’s State Press to cut back printing schedule, focus more heavily on digital
ASU’s 106-year-old independent, student-operated newspaper will be cutting back publishing to one day per week starting in January, according to a press release published on its website Thursday evening.
