YMCA basketball court begins five-week renovations thanks to a $100,000 grant
Basketball enthusiasts who frequent the downtown Phoenix Lincoln YMCA will be finding a new home court for the foreseeable future due to renovation efforts, according to YMCA Senior Executive Director Greg Corns.

Postino, Windsor owners and managers branch out with new pizzeria
Craig and Kris DeMarco, Lauren and Wyatt Bailey, and Tory DeMarce, who own and manage several other downtown Phoenix restaurants such as Postino and Windsor, collaborated once again to create Federal Pizza. The restaurant, located on the southwest corner of Central and Oregon avenues, will feature wood-fired pizzas and is set to open on Oct. 9.
Yoga classes now offered at The Duce
The Duce began offering weekly "old-school" yoga classes on Sundays at noon, leaving behind the "soft soothing music" of average yoga classes.
Artists called to redesign downtown banners
The Downtown Phoenix Banner Design Contest, which is open to all participants, will feature the winning image on about 100 light-pole banners in downtown Phoenix.
