Over a hundred artists, and hundreds of art-and-pancake hungry (and thirsty) attendees, gathered for a one-of-a-kind event at The Duce on Friday.
The Pancakes and Booze Art Show connects artists with the community, incorporating live art, body painting, music and more. The Duce, a 1920s-era warehouse at Central Avenue and Lincoln Street, hosts these events around twice a year.
“I love this event because it’s so casual,” artist E.Monique said. “There’s just no pressure — you come in, you get a drink out of a mason jar, you order food, you walk around and just meet different people… it’s just a big fun party for everybody.”
