A man with a forked tongue, a human-sized rabbit, and children on rollerblades: These are among the array of sights found at the Grand Avenue Festival on Saturday. The all-day celebration consisted of fashion shows, crafts for kids, and many other activities and served as a harbor for local artists to showcase their work. The hodgepodge of attractions drew in a large, diverse crowd with a shared interest of supporting the Phoenix art scene. The evening concluded with the Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts. This annual event allows for community members of all ages to come together and express their creativity in a colorful march around downtown, this year along Grand Avenue.
