Two different noodle restaurants opened in the same space earlier this month. Pat and Waldo’s offers Italian-style noodle dishes while Otakumen features Vietnamese-style ramen. Both restaurants are under the Orpheum Lofts.
Cobra Arcade

Thursday-Saturday — 4 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Sunday — 12 p.m. – 12 a.m.
Downtown’s arcade and bar finally opened earlier this month — years in the making, according to the arcade’s website. Cobra features over 40 classic arcade games and a selection of drafts, wines and video-game-themed cocktails.

50 E. Adams St. — Basement of the Renaissance Downtown Phoenix Hotel
Downtown has brought a little mystery into nightlife with the addition of a modern twist on a speakeasy. With no official address, feel free to wander the street of Central Avenue, south of Monroe and north of Adams, in search for the red lightbulb that marks the entrance with the reward of crafty cocktails.
Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Phoenix
15 E. Monroe St.
Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Phoenix opened Dec. 18 in the previously vacant Professional Building. The hotel has 170 guest rooms and will be home to the second location of Arcadia’s Nook Kitchen, an upscale scratch-based restaurant. The hotel and bar are now open and Nook Kitchen is expected to open in the next few months.
