Slide show: Chile Pepper Festival heats up downtown

The first Roosevelt Row Chile Pepper Festival was held Saturday in downtown Phoenix, including live music, chile roasting and participation from about 15 local restaurants.

The event was hosted by Roosevelt Row Community Development Corporation and took place from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at an Adaptive Reuse of Temporary Space lot at Roosevelt and Fifth streets.

Participating restaurants included Barrio Cafe, Carly’s Bistro and Burgers Amore.
