After three years as one of the Valley’s top food trucks, Short Leash Hot Dogs opened a permanent location in downtown Phoenix Tuesday, corresponding with National Hot Dog Day.
Owners Brad and Kat Moore opened Sit…Stay, located at First and Roosevelt streets in the space next to the Nash, and will sell their normal menu items with fried pickles, cole slaw and corn dogs to go alongside the signature and custom hot dogs.
Besides hot dogs, the permanent location will also offer a rotating beer and wine collection including Tempe’s Four Peaks Brewery.
The new location will normally be open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., but for the rest of this week, it will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Even with the new restaurant, the food trucks will still operate normally.
