On the 10-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, events around the city commemorated the tragedy. Crowds filled the streets of Phoenix for a walk which started at the Chase building on North Central Avenue, honoring those who lost their lives in the attacks. The walk ended at CityScape where civilians, police officers and firemen gathered in remembrance and were able to view memorial items, including a piece of structure metal from the World Trade Center.
