To kick off Homecoming week students on the Downtown campus had the opportunity to give up their hair for the “Locks of Love and Goin’ Bald for Bucks” fundraiser on Monday. The fundraiser was held to raise awareness and raise money for cancer patients who have lost their hair and are in need of wigs.
Stylists from Rochelle Salon & Spa in Phoenix donated their services for the event by cutting and styling participants’ hair for free.
Several students and faculty members sacrificed their long locks for a good cause. Even some passerbys joined in the fun and donated their hair.
