Spit or swab: Here’s where to get a COVID-19 test in downtown Phoenix

New year, same pandemic. To keep the community safe, if you are feeling sick or have come in contact with anyone with COVID-19, here is a list of where you can get tested in downtown Phoenix.

Walgreens
They offer free rapid tests with insurance with results in less than 24 hours. If you are insured your insurance will be billed $129 for either test. Visit the website.

ASU Downtown Campus
ASU is continuing to offer saliva tests for staff, students and the public by appointment. Visit the website. The university is also doing drop-off testing. This means students and staff can pick up a test kit do it at their convenience and drop it off. Students must register through their health portal before dropping it off. COVID-19 Testing Van
Last fall the city of Phoenix partnered with Vincere Cancer Center to set up a mobile testing van. The van goes to locations all over the city and offers free rapid tets and antibody test. Visit the website.

CVS
CVS offers lab testing, with results in 2-3 days, and rapid test with results in a little as 4 hours. It is free with insurance but people must have symptoms or qualify to test because supplies are limited. Visit the website.
