Although the weather still feels like summer, the fall season is nearly here, and with it an eager demand for pumpkin everything.

Too soon? Well, not for some coffee lovers.

Instead of ordering the played-out pumpkin latte from Starbucks, check out these unique fall drinks from local coffee shops in downtown Phoenix.

Luana’s Coffee and Beer

The return of the Headless Horseman: Luana’s fall drink features an organic pumpkin pie house sauce added to the house chai with cinnamon and madagascar vanilla. This seasonal pumpkin chai tea latte will be available on September 7.

Froth Coffee Roasters

On September 1, Froth Coffee Roasters started selling the Erma Gourd. It’s a pumpkin spice vanilla chai latte served with your choice of milk, including dairy-free options. Don’t fret! This fall drink will be available both hot and iced to enjoy as the high temperatures continue.

Tres Leches Cafe

Tres Leches Cafe brought back the Azteca de Calabaza, a twist on the pumpkin spice latte with added mocha, to the fall menu. Available both iced or hot, the drink features pumpkin pie and Tres Leches’ house crema. It is the first of other fall drinks to make a debut.

Fillmore Coffee Co.

Fillmore Coffee Co. will have fall and Halloween-themed drinks to look forward to. Manager Olive Owens plans to have each barista create their own drink. A specific date has yet to be set, but keep an eye out for spooky drinks in October.
