Monday night’s TaylorFest block party welcomed hundreds of new and returning Downtown students to campus for the fall semester with local bands and businesses.
Designed to expose students to downtown businesses and foster community integration, TaylorFest hosted the likes of Conspire, Stand Up Comedy, Jobot, Fair Trade Cafe and the Arizona Science Center while local bands Superstereo and Whisperlights performed throughout the evening. Downtown student organizations also participated in TaylorFest by setting up tables and providing students information on how to become involved.
Hundreds of maroon TaylorFest t-shirts, sponsored by the downtown student government, were handed out to guests, and organizers raffled off ASU apparel.
