The Rundown: Startup Week, seven years of FilmBar and Cronkite’s ‘Me Too’ response

The Cronkite school held a discussion with reporters who broke recent sexual harassment stories as the first of four in a new series entitled “Women, the Media and the Workplace.” The Cronkite School launched the series after reporting revealed sexual assault allegations against several prominent media figures including Mark Halperin, Matt Lauer and Charlie Rose.

The Rundown is a collaboration between Downtown Devil and Blaze Radio that recaps Downtown Devil’s weekly coverage of downtown Phoenix.

This week, host Daniel Perle and editors Stephanie Morse and Rebecca Spiess discuss PHX Startup Week, Phoenix Elementary School District kids doing their best Jackson Pollock impressions, and the seventh anniversary of FilmBar’s opening.

Later they talk about the foul-mouthed puppets in “Hand to God” and the views of two of the Cronkite School’s top administrators on the Me Too movement.
