The Super Bowl has already hit downtown — and hard (you can’t miss those building-sized Pepsi ads), but we still have six days until the big game. Here is our list of things you can do this week before kickoff:

Human foosball

Stop by Kitchen Sink Studios on Third and Garfield streets Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for your life-sized foosball viewing pleasure at Super Foos 2015. You can play too — individual fees are $15, or you can sign a group up for $125. If this event wasn’t great enough, all ticket proceeds benefit Roosevelt Row. Sign up to play at superfoos2015.com. (Viewing is free!)

26 Blocks

This art exhibit brings together the past work of 26 photographers, 26 writers and one sculptor, from their 2010 debut of 26 Blocks. The gallery has since been reworked with an illustrator interpreting the 26 downtown Phoenix blocks and the show’s original release. 26 Blocks will be displayed at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel to tell stories of downtown life. This is a great way to introduce out-of-towners to the downtown area!

DTPHX City Sampler

Over 20 downtown restaurants are offering samples from their menu classics for $5. Visit Carly’s Bistro, FilmBar, Songbird Coffee & Tea House and a number of other downtown hot spots any day until Sunday for these deals. Click here for a full list of participating restaurants.

Science Cheerleaders at Arizona Science Center

Science Cheerleader, an organization aiming to break down stereotypes about women in science and cheerleaders, will host an event at the Arizona Science Center offering tours of the exhibits, presentations from doctors and ASU students and demonstrations from engineers. Visit the science center Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to learn more about the fields of neurosurgery, physics, psychology and aerospace engineering — and meet some of the NFL cheerleaders with degrees in these fields.

Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival

More than 15,000 people are expected to turn out for this year’s Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival. Stop by the Arizona state fairgrounds on 19th Avenue and McDowell Road from Thursday through Saturday to see nearly 350 vendor booths, workshops, exhibits and free educational seminars.

The Scarlet Cord

This pop-up art exhibit in a shipping container near First and McKinley streets showcases pieces that depict the issue of human trafficking. Local nonprofit StreetLightUSA partnered with artist Pamela Adelman to create a walk-through experience highlighting some of the major aspects of the issue. Moving artwork by former trafficking victims is featured at the end of the exhibit, as well.

Super Bowl Central live entertainment

A number of acts will hit the main stage at Super Bowl Central — on Washington street between First and Second streets — from Wednesday through Sunday. Most notably, The Roots will perform on Saturday at 8:45 p.m. Other acts like Jared & The Mill and Walk The Moon will also grace the stage. And all for free! See the full list of acts at the Super Bowl’s website.

Roosevelt Row sidewalk sale

Participating businesses along Roosevelt Street and 1st through 6th streets will have some of their goods on display all weekend. Stop by Friday through Sunday to pick up some vintage clothes, art and gifts.
