Discolored water began flowing at Taylor Place Monday night due to water having to be temporarily shut off when there was a pipe issue in the building earlier in the day, a Taylor Place official said in an email to community assistants.
Ronald Briggs, community coordinator for Taylor Place, said let water run to clear it.
“When water pipes are turned off for a period of time, residue builds up that will be cleared once the water runs from faucets for a few minutes,” Briggs said.
