
Arizona State University graduate students Chloe Jones and Haillie Parker had their jobs and education upended because of the COVID-19 pandemic. An idea from an associate dean at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication helped the part-time yoga instructors bring Zen and tranquility to other Cronkite students.
Since ASU transitioned to being fully online, ASU students are able to participate in free yoga sessions over Zoom teleconferencing. While the roommates were unsure of their peer’s reception, they’re happy to share their passion and enjoy bonding with fellow Cronkite yogees.
